How are we minimizing your risk when you come to our clinic?

If you come to our clinic, we are taking several steps to minimize risk.  Dr. Aaker and our staff wear N95 or KN95 masks during all patient care.  All patients are required to bring their own mask or face covering, and wear at all times.  All symptomatic patients with any possible signs of COVID 19 including cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, stuffy nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, are asked to do a telehealth exam, and if necessary to be seen, may be seen after hours or sent to the hospital.  We disinfect the chairs, and slit lamp examining equipment with cavicide (an alcohol based cleaner) between every patient.  We have closed our waiting room and all patients may come in and go directly to their exam room.  In case the exam rooms are full, there is a lighting system on the outside window with red lights indicating to wait in your car, and green lights indicating to come right in.  We are constantly refining our process as indicated by the CDC and other governmental authorities.  If you are still too concerned to come inside the office, you could consider a telehealth exam.  Please read our notice and comply if you have symptoms.  See the new requirements for patient care that we are complying with and in many cases exceed those requirements.  Texas Medical Board Covid Notice
